YOUTH
Youth voices and engagement are at the center of Voices of Youth Count.
Voices of Youth Count engaged hundreds of youth between the ages of 13 and 25 who played a central role in planning and implementing our youth counts across the 22 VoYC partner communities. These young people provided keen and actionable insights and knowledge based on their personal experiences with homelessness and housing instability. They were also employed to count and survey youth in their communities.
Youth are active participants in the review and translation of the findings and the development of recommendations. By doing this work with them, not just for them, VoYC is empowering youth in efforts to end youth homelessness in their communities and across America.
