Voices of Youth Count is an unprecedented endeavor, and our work could not be accomplished without the support of our partners in the field. These organizations have joined us in our nationwide effort to end youth homelessness.
Applied Survey Research partnered with Voices of Youth Count to bring their technical expertise and years of experience with homeless counts and community engagement to the planning and execution of youth counts in the VoYC partner communities. ASR is a social research firm that works to build better communities through rigorous, usable research to promote practical and lasting change in the lives of individuals, children, and families.
Gallup worked with Voices of Youth Count on the formulation and administration of a national household survey of an estimated 30,000 homes designed to contribute the initiative’s development of a national prevalence and incidence estimate of runaway, unaccompanied homeless and unstably housed youth. Gallup applies rigorous research standards and scientifically proven methodologies to organizations worldwide to help them understand and solve their most pressing problems.
Barbara Poppe, of Barbara Poppe and Associates, brings her national expertise on homelessness as well as extensive relationships with the field to her work with Voices of Youth Count as a facilitator of the National Learning Community. The former executive director of the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness, Barbara Poppe is the principal of a consulting firm that develops the capacity of communities and organizations to tackle complex issues using a collaborative systems approach to achieve results and impact.
